Today’s blog is all about an issue that I hear so many people talk about and is so common in todays society. It’s also one that I’ve had a personal struggle with on a daily basis and haven’t yet managed to change my habits around.
After getting the new update on my iPhone, I, along with millions of people now get weekly breakdown of how much time I spend on average on my phone each day.
My average per day this week is a whopping 6 hours 30 minutes, with a weekly total of 45 hours and 32 minutes. Madness, I know, and I’m aware of how bad this is! There is a total of 7 hours and 1 minute that is just time spent scrolling aimlessly through Instagram…. for no reason at all, other than making sure I have cleared all the stories at the top!
Is there anyone else out there that does the same? Just picks up the phone and without realising it, open up a social media app and aimlessly scrolls for no reason. I’m guessing there is. Some people have said to me it makes them feel sad, or envious, or sometimes just plain awful, just because they don’t believe they look as good as someone else, or they don’t have the perfect life that some people on social media appear to have?
